The program started with Ms. Jennifer Jun’s, Senior Manager, International Policy Stockholm International Water Institute (SIWI), presentation on youth leadership in climate action. Ms. Jun shared her experiences at SIWI and suggested various programs that would enhance the leadership skills of our participants. After Ms. Jun’s presentation, students started the discussion portion of the program, moderated by the 2021 YLS Alumna, Ms. Sarah Strasberg. Throughout the discussion, participants shared their unique leadership stories through their projects and listened to different cultural approaches to climate activism.
