Jennifer Hamad

Jennifer Hamad is an undergraduate at Stanford University from Houston, Texas. She is a devout education, climate, youth voice, and human rights activist. For the last six years, she has spearheaded the development of a researched-based financially self-sustaining national plan, which holds the potential to raise billions of dollars for school districts across the nation, in efforts to combat systemic education inequities that have plagued the American public education system and disadvantaged low-income minority students. She has also been extensively involved in the drafting, design, and implementation of Houston’s UNICEF Child Friendly Cities Initiative Action Plan, which has made Houston the first city in the United States to recognize the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. Jennifer is a 2021 alumna of the Sister Cities International Youth Leadership Summit and Youth Delegate for the July Youth Chat on education.
