AFRICA
African Global Sister Cities Foundation
The mission of the African Global Cities Foundation (AGSCF), based in Accra, Ghana, is to create, strengthen and promote sister cities partnerships among African communities.

Eastern Africa Sister Cities
Eastern Africa Sister Cities’ (EASC) main goals are to develop, coordinate, incubate, and support new and existing city, town and municipality links worldwide with emphasis to promote a south to south city twinning and strengthen Sister Cities in Eastern Africa. Sister city relationships between Eastern Africa and United States of America cities include partnerships in Kenya, Tanzania, Ethiopia and Rwanda.

Sister Cities Africa
Sister Cities Africa is based out of Casablanca, Morocco and serves North Africa and the Middle East. Sister Cities Africa aims to connect cities in North Africa and the Middle East not only with communities in the U.S., but cities around the world.

ASIA
All India Institute of Local Self Government
Sister Cities International and the All India Institute of Local Self Government (AIILSG) signed a Memorandum of Understanding in July 2012. AIILSG, established in 1926 is a premier autonomous research and training institution in India. The Institute offers several regular training courses in urban development management and municipal administration, which are recognized by the Government of India and several state governments in India. AIILSG has been active in capacity building for senior urban officials and elected members from China, Ethiopia, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, South Africa, Thailand and several African countries. As a Premier institution, it aims at expanding its assistance in some of these countries in the near future to assist in bringing better governance practices and reforms.

The Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries
Sister Cities International and The Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding in October 2012. This partnership was recognized as part of the specific outcomes on sub-national relationships in the 2013 U.S.-China Economic and Strategic Dialogue. The Dialogue was headed by U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry and Chinese State Councillor Yang Jiechi.
CPAFFC is one of the earliest national people’s organizations engaged in people-to-people diplomacy of the People’s Republic of China. With the purposes of enhancing people’s friendship, furthering international cooperation, safeguarding world peace and promoting common development, and on behalf of the Chinese people, the CPAFFC makes friends with foreign countries widely and closely on the international arena. It serves the great cause of China’s peaceful development and peaceful reunification and strives for the solidarity and progress of all mankind. In launching its activities, it has support from the government and assistance from all sectors of the society. It has set up 46 China-regional or China-national friendship organizations and established relationship of friendly cooperation with nearly 500 nongovernment organizations and institutions in 157 countries.
Sister Cities International is all set to host the 2014 U.S.-China Sister Cities Conference, March 26-28 in collaboration with CPAFFC.

The World Cities Scientific Development Alliance
The World Cities Scientific Development Alliance (WCSDA) established in 2009 is committed to promoting sustainable city development and building livable cities for humanity so as to deal with disasters and climate change in China and the world at large. WCSDA also provides opportunities for bilateral talks on city management, experience sharing and new technical exchanges for sustainable city development and works to promote world cities scientific development through the platform of “World Cities Scientific Development Forum”.

Asociacion de Ciudades Hermanas de America
Asociacion de Ciudades Hermanas de America(ACHA) is dedicated to connect communities and strengthening of friendship and brotherhood between the U.S. and Mexico. It serves four goals listed below: to expand the impact and growing awareness of ACHA and movement of citizen diplomacy, to provide communities with the tools, assistance and materials to advance their work, to improve the membership through diversity, interaction and technology, and to ensure the viability and relevance of our institution and network for a vibrant future. The work of the organization has brought benefits to the communities involved through exchanges in areas such as culture, education, commerce, tourism, sports and crafts.
